Random "AG-Facts"

Here are some random facts about agriculture in our Nation.

1. The United States pays less than any other country for their food. (In percentage of disposable income.) This is due to our countries independence of agriculture, we make our own food. We don't rely on other countries to feed us.

2. Compared to 1950, today's farmers produce 262% MORE food with 2% less inputs. Which means A LOT more food is being produced today with LESS going in to making it.

3.  American farmers help feed the world. I would type out the percentages but this image sums it up much better...

4. Just about everything we use during a daily basis come back to agriculture. So, no offense to anyone, but there is no such thing as a Vegan.
